Virginia Cary Hudson (1894–1954) was a posthumous best selling American author. As a 10-year-old in Kentucky, she wrote a series of essays that were published after her death at age 60.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and after she graduated from Margaret Hall, an Episcopalian School for Girls in Versailles, Kentucky, she attended a finishing school for girls in Washington, DC.
